This week we talk with Sarah Lenz Lock, AARP’s SVP for Policy and Executive Director of the Global Council on Brain Health about a new study on dementia and brain health. The research shows health care providers overestimate the worry that adults 40 and older would feel if they had dementia.
We then speak with Israil Ali, Director of the Division of the National Health Service Corps, about the Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP), which will provide student loan repayment to behavioral health professionals and paraprofessionals for service in a community affected by the opioid crisis.
