WPER Winter Outdoor Movie Series – Woodlawn
January 29 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeJoin WPER at The Glasgow Farm Church (448 Hartwood Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22406) for 3 great family friendly movies this winter. Pack the kids in the car with some popcorn, treats and their favorite blanket and create some memories under the stars. We kick this series off with “Woodlawn” on Friday, January 29. Movie begins at 6:30pm. Parking opens at 6pm. This movie is free to the public, but you must reserve a car spot ahead of time.
WPER is participating in “Canstruction” this year to support the Fredericksburg Local Food bank. Please bring canned goods to help your WPER build a creation you will never forget! Our goal is to collect over 2000 cans! What will we build? You will have to wait and see!

As violence and anger erupt in the city, Woodlawn football coach Tandy Gerelds (Nic Bishop) allows an outsider (Sean Astin) to speak to his players. His message of hope and love leads to a spiritual awakening that inspires star athlete Nathan, his teammates and other members of the community to overcome the hate that surrounds them.
