Your Encouraging WPER is teaming up with Hope for Appalachia once again this year to share Christ’s love with hope-starved kids through our Hope Box and prom dress collection. We take so many things for granted that are a blessing to these children. Simple items, such as toothbrushes, crayons, socks, stuffed animals and more.

WPER is partnering with many local businesses to collect these Hope Boxes and gently used prom dresses from Wednesday, March 1st through Monday, March 20th. Donations can not be accepted after the March 20th date. Please look at the list of locations below and the list of what to pack in a box. This is a great project for Girls Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Youth Groups, Bible Studies and more.

Each box, each dress is an opportunity. It opens the door to share the gospel message with hope-starved school aged kids in public schools from Pre-K all the way through 12th grade through a special assembly that teaches each child the gospel message and gives them the opportunity to give their lives to Christ.
