Friends, I'm praying for a baby. We've been dealing with infertility for over a year, and every month is painful hope that crashes into renewed grief. So I'm asking for prayers: that God will give us a positive test this month, a healthy pregnancy, and a child; that he'll support us as parents; and that he'll take all of our grief and doubt and fear, and all of my ruminating anxiety that focuses on this pain and spirals through every day to the exclusion of everything else that deserve my attention- I pray for peace. I pray for hope, and I pray for guidance. And, God help us, I pray for a baby.
