I would like to ask for prayers for a little girl named Vivian who is fighting the battle of her life.
Vivian was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma in November of 2016 right before her 1st birthday. She's a amazing little fighter.
After tons of surgeries(one resulting in the taking of her left kidney and left adrenal gland).. chemo(tons of side effects).. stem cell transplants...proton radiation.. immunotherapy and more ups and downs along the way, she was on 6/12/2018 declared no evidence of the disease 🙂
Neuroblastoma is a beast of a cancer and likes to reappear at any given moment which is the scariest part.
Vivian has been a part of a trial called DFMO which is suppose to help keep the cancer away but this type of cancer does not play fair.
As of 10/2/19 the cancer has reared its ugly head again. It has now shown up in her brain and is growing very quickly.
They found a couple of spots on her brain. The top spot grew bigger in just a short few weeks and the orbit spot has also grown bigger.
Proton can take care of it but now that it is in her brain, it brings a whole new set of concerns.
Scar tissue is going to cause seizures if not now..later
Her doctor said everything neurologically should be ok.. Its not touching the language or math part of her brain yet.
Since she is right handed she uses the left part of her brain..and of course this is where the masses are growing.
Please pray for God's healing hands to reach down and touch Vivian's tiny body and heal her. Let God use Vivian's journey to bring hope and courage to others who are fighting the same or similar battle.
Please pray for her mom, Dani, to have the strength to face this trial with Vivian.
