Patrick E. Young, MD (part 1), and Casey Hollins (part 2)

This week is a 2-part interview!
As March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness month, we start of this week’s Community Matters by speaking with Patrick E. Young, MD, FACG, National Military Medical Center, Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland, and vice chair, Board of Governors at the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Young discusses the importance of screenings to prevent colorectal cancer, and ways we can all help maintain our colorectal health.
With the rising prevalence of COVID-19 in the US and growing numbers here in VA, our second interview is with Casey Hollins, Director of Communications & Public Relations Department at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Ms. Hollins discusses the ways REC is helping the community they serve, and steps REC is taking to help those who may be facing job loss and inability to pay for their electric bills.
