My original prayer request was to be able to come up with enough money to be able to take an old friend, whom I was recently reunited with, to the Warrior Event in Jan. Well, when I texted "Merry Christmas, beautiful" to my friend on Dec. 25th, she didn't respond. Then on the 27th I got a call that she had overdosed on her depression medication and her funeral was that night. I was out of town and didn't get to attend.
I'm still morning and in disbelief. My new prayer request is comfort for her family and friends.
